Ariad values the trust that our clients have continually shown us, and we reciprocate this trust by continuously engaging in best practices to ensure that our client data is safe and secure.

You may be aware of the “Heartbleed Bug,” a vulnerability in the version of the OpenSSL software library that currently runs on worldwide web servers. The bug has impacted, at last estimates, about two-thirds of all web servers on the Internet worldwide.

In order to proactively address this issue, Ariad has applied the recommended patch to prevent our servers from being affected. This patch was released by OpenSSL.org on April 7th, 2014, and Ariad deployed it on our servers the same day. We are continually monitoring this worldwide issue and will take any further steps required to ensure a safe and secure environment.

There is currently no evidence that any sites, servers, or Ariad customer data have been compromised. Any steps we take to further secure our environment are only a precautionary measure at this time.

More information on the Heartbleed vulnerability can be found at the following link:

We are grateful for the confidence you have shown in Ariad and we will continue to keep you apprised of any new developments.
